Here's Lilly displaying her Rosie the Riveter T:

Hopefully we won't return to a basement full of carp. The river is almost into our yard and according to flood forecasting by NOAA, still has 6 feet to rise. Works out well that this was the year I was lazy and didn't pull in the dock and boat lift. Below is the observation/forecast of the charting station on the bridge behind our house.

For reference:
Our basement floor is at 847 feet above sea level. The 100-year flood high was 843 in 1967. The highest levels in recent history were 840 in 1997 and 839 in 2001.

Should we start sand bagging?
Should be fine. At the highest it'll be most of the way up our yard.
