This weekend we celebrated Holly's birthday by staying in Silverthorne. Beth, Geoff, June and Geoff's brother Ryan joined us Saturday evening.
The weekend got off to a good start with a 66 degree high temp in Denver on Friday. We drove up to the mountains Friday after Lilly got out of school. Holly made a good salmon dinner at the cabin and we still had time to swim/hot tub before bed.

Holly got her birthday wish of having excellent weather for her mountain weekend. Saturday's high temps were close to 40 and the sun was bright all day. What a great day to ski.

Lilly's January session of Scooters (ski school at Copper Mountain) wrapped up with the Scooter Olympics. All of the kiddos raced down a mini skicross course.

After a great day we headed back to the condo for a snack and some swimming with June Bug. Beth and Geoff took all of us out to dinner to celebrate and close out a near perfect day.
Sunday we went to Breckenridge to see the International Snow Sculpting Championships:

After the sculptures I skied at Frisco Nordic Center while Holly and Lilly found super sale deals at the Old Navy Outlet. The traffic filled drive home was broken up by a pizza stop at Mountain Buzz in Georgetown.
A great weekend. Happy Birthday Holly!
